ECA was founded on November 18, 2023.
ECA replaced the previous structure, the Initiative of Communist and Workers' Parties (commonly known as " INITIATIVE " / " European Communist Initiative – ECI "). INITIATIVE was an alliance of many communist/workers' parties in Europe from 2013 to 2023.
INITIATIVE disbanded in 2023 due to ideological differences in the context of the Russia–Ukraine war; After this separation, ECA was founded by the coming together of parties that "see Russia as imperialist" and consider this war as "part of imperialist competition".
So the ECA is not a mockery or a reformist in Europe; It was born as a "new, clear and ideologically consistent" alliance on revolutionary lines.
