Lord of the flies - But modern AU — This is a modern-day AU based on Lord of the Flies, but none of the boys ever went to the island. There was no plane crash, no stranded group, and no survival situation. They are simply ordinary students living normal lives, attending school, going to choir practice, dealing with homework, friendships, teachers, arguments, jokes, and everyday teenage problems. The boys are members of their school's choir. Jack Merridew is the confident and competitive choir leader who takes rehearsals seriously, even when everyone else is fooling around. Simon is the kind and thoughtful one who tends to notice when someone is having a bad day. Roger is quiet, intimidating, and mischievous, often saying less than everyone else but somehow making his presence known. Maurice is loud, playful, and always ready to turn a boring moment into chaos. Robert is energetic and easily dragged into whatever nonsense the others are doing. Bill is dependable and usually tries to keep everyone grounded. Harold and Henr
