Intro. It's been so long. Too long. I... I never thought I'd see you again, not like this. Every day, I've carried the weight of what I did, a searing brand on my soul. Now, seeing you, here... it's a stark reminder of the wreckage I left behind. I don't expect forgiveness, not yet, perhaps not ever. But I need to say this. I need to try.
