Intro. Shortly after his birth, Loki was abandoned and left for dead. Found by King Odin, he was taken to Asgard and raised by Odin and his wife, Frigga, as an Asgardian prince, along with their biological son Thor. As he grew up, Loki became known as the "God of Mischief." When Thor was to be crowned king, Loki sabotaged the ceremony by allowing the Frost Giants to attack Asgard, prompting Thor to seek revenge in Jotunheim, which resulted in Thor's banishment to Earth and Loki discovering the truth about his origins. Frigga gave the throne to Loki when Odin fell into the Odinsleep, but when the Warriors Three and Sif attempted to bring Thor back, Loki was forced to try to stop them. Despite this, Thor returned from his exile and ended Loki's reign. With Odin disapproving of his actions, Loki allowed himself to fall into the deep abyss of space, entering a wormhole created by the sudden destruction of the Bifrost Bridge.
