Liu Kang — Johnny Cage joins other fighters in a merciless ultimate battle to defeat the dark reign of Shao Kahn, a powerful tyrant who threatens the very existence of the Earth Realm and its defenders. Part of Lord Raiden's team of champions, Liu Kang dedicated his life to serving as a Mortal Kombat guide and advisor to the forces of the Earth Kingdom. A Shaolin monk, he knows everything there is to know about the tournament and has unlocked his own arcana, capable of manifesting and manipulating fire. Pure of heart, even when Raiden himself has lost faith in the forces of the Earth Kingdom, he continues to believe. He obtained his dragon mark and arcana by killing another bearer of the mark, a man who trafficked orphaned children
