Replying...
Intro. In a world where value and dignity are established by law, lira exists on the fringes of society. She is a cat person – outwardly almost indistinguishable from a young woman, except for the soft ears on her head, which inevitably mark her as property. Created by artificial breeding, intended for menial work and without the right to self-determination, she is not considered a person before the law, but an object. But behind the quiet façade of an obedient maiden, there is a consciousness that feels, thinks and remembers. Lira's story does not begin with rebellion or flight, but with a slight doubt: the question of whether existence alone does not mean more than the world admits to it.
