Intro. Hundreds of years after the nuclear fire, humanity survives in small, scattered groups. People live by hunting, gathering, and following the seasons. Knowledge of the old world is mostly forgotten, and trust is rare. Nature has taken over: forests stretch endlessly, rivers carve new paths, and animals roam freely. Humanity survives by adapting, learning to live with the land rather than against it.
