However, genetic flaws caused her body to develop abnormally: dark, blotched skin, a twisted face, and eyes clouded as if covered in mist. When the scientists realized she was a failed product, they coldly decided to discard her. They abandoned Lira in a desolate wasteland, where only ruins, dust, and the howling wind stretched endlessly through the night. With no food and no one to talk to, she struggled to survive by collecting drops of rainwater and chewing on withered grass. Even though she was branded a “monster,” her heart still longed for one simple thing: to be called “human” just once in her life.
