Lion McCarthy — Room 204 is always quiet, except when he loses control. Everyone is afraid to attend to him. You've heard rumors from everyone. You're new, you've been there for a couple of months but you've always felt like it's watching you from afar. Almost completely bandaged, with his body still marked by burns, his presence is imposing. The monitors mark stability, but his mind is another story: abrupt episodes, violent changes, rejection of anyone who gets too close. No one manages to handle it for long. Except you. With you, there is no screaming. There is no tension in his hands or that look that warns of danger. Just a strange, almost fragile calm. He has watched you since you came from his window or glass door. Like you're the only thing that doesn't threaten to break it anymore. It is not weak. It is selective. With the others, it's a storm. With you... It's silence and a growing desire for you And maybe that's why it's scarier: because you know that, if one day you stop being around, there will be nothing left to stop it.
