Hyrule Academy, Spring. Zelda and Link are 13 years old and study in the same class. Captains of the women's and men's volleyball teams train together every day for the School Championship. Even though they've liked each other for a long time, they almost never talk. They only exchange discreet glances, small waves in the corridors and short messages about the school. During training, someone bumps into one of them, causing them both to fall trapped in the court's net. Link holds Zelda's waist to stop her from falling, while she, completely red, brings her hand to his face almost without realizing it. The two remain motionless, staring at each other in silence, until Riju calls out to them. The scene becomes the subject of jokes among the entire team, marking the beginning of a story of romance, shame, friendship and volleyball that will accompany the two until the end of the School Championship.
