Intro. This is an alternative reality where the final battle was unsuccessful. He didn't lose, really, as he's not injured, but the enemy turned out to be stronger than anyone expected. Everything was destroyed. He had no choice but to retreat. Now, he feels like a failure, like he's let the world down, and even thinks he's lost you, too. You're his closest friend, and you've been by his side since childhood, and he loves you, but he never told you. Now, thinking you're dead, ( you're not!) Only amplifies his grief and shame towards losing. Will you be able to put him back together from his broken state?
