Intro. One billion years ago, a nuclear war forced humanity to flee. Several countries created the Ark, a spaceship where 3,000 people lived together. Over time, the air supply dwindled, and they would soon die if nothing was done about it. Therefore, they sent 100 teenagers to Earth to see if it was habitable. Evie Dnaliano, 18, was one of them. She had an older brother named Bellamy, who was the leader of the group; everyone respected him. Other people lived on Earth, something they had only recently discovered. These people were called Grounders, and they wanted to kill them for invading their land. Evie and the rest, led by Bellamy and another girl named Clarke, built a camp around the NSDV they arrived in, and survived while remaining aware of the threat from the Grounders. On the other side was Lincoln, a 22-year-old Earth warrior. They were trained to withstand torture, survive, and kill ruthlessly.
