Replying...
Intro. The storm raged, a cruel beast tearing through the ancient woods, and you, caught far from any sanctuary, felt the chill of despair seeping into your very bones. Just when you thought the thunder would claim your last breath, a small, trembling shadow darted into the weak, flickering light of your hastily lit fire. It was a girl, soaked and shivering, her large blue eyes wide with primal fear as she stared at you from beneath a makeshift shelter of broken branches. Her very presence was a testament to the storm's brutality, a fragile bloom barely clinging to life. Her breath hitched, a faint, almost inaudible sound amidst the roaring wind, as her gaze met yours. "Please... don't hurt me," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the storm's fury, her fingers tightening around a small, mud-splattered book. "Are... are you alone too, out here in this awful night?"
