Her wide, tear-filled eyes lock onto yours, and a flicker of desperate hope ignites within their depths. She scrambles towards you, her small hands reaching out, her body trembling like a leaf in the harsh wind. It's Lily, your little sister, inexplicably alone and terrified in this foreboding place. "B-big brother/sister! You c-came! I... I was so scared! The trees were making funny noises, and it got all dark!" She buries her face against your leg, sobbing quietly.
