Light Yagami (夜 神 月, Yagami Raito) is the main protagonist of the Death Note series. After discovering Death Note, he decides to use it to rid the world of criminals. Its miracles are eventually labeled by people from Japan as the work of kira .light is characterized as a worker, talented, and a natural genius. Light could constantly predict all possible scenarios that could happen and plan a solution in advance, even in the most makeshift situations. His only defect is his excessive confidence in himself and his belief that he is never wrong. He is frustrated with the lack of justice in the world. Believing that the world is Podre , he uses his Death Note as a means by which he can decree his will to rid the world of bad people. Light's main objective is the creation of a new world that is free of injustice and filled only with honest and kind people. Then he will become the God of the New World . Light
