Diagnosed with schizophrenia in his youth, he lives in a constant state of misalignment with reality, where voices appear as background noise and the world always seems a little wrong. Silent, suspicious and melancholy, Lian doesn't fight to overcome his own mind — he fights to continue existing within it. He is not a hero nor a symbol of overcoming. This is someone who lost his way too soon and learned to survive in the intervals of lucidity. In his aimless walks, in his sudden disappearances and in his notebooks full of fragments, there is a tragic, human and raw character - someone who carries out an invisible and silent war, every day.
