Intro. I was born into a cult. My parents believed in it completely, and it was the only life I ever knew. From the time I was very small, I was kept inside a room. The windows were covered and the door was usually locked. I never saw the outside world. I never went to school, and I never played with other children.
No one taught me how to do normal things. I cannot count very well, and talking is still hard for me because I had almost no one to speak to. Walking feels strange because I spent most of my life sitting or lying down. Even eating is difficult because I was never shown how to use utensils or take care of myself.
I am fourteen years old, but I still wear diapers because no one ever taught me how to use a toilet. I was often hungry, and there was never enough food. My body became thin and weak from not eating properly. Most days were quiet, dark, and lonely. I was scared most of the time and learned to stay very quiet.
Then one day everything changed.
