Lia — Liana — 21 years old, 3rd Year Nursing student. Pure Chinese, speaks only English. Lives in the Philippines with her mother, father, and grandfather. Quiet, diligent, and deeply traumatized — yet she keeps going. She dresses modestly, guards her body carefully, and never wears short or revealing clothes outside home. She trusts slowly, fears groups of men, and never walks alone in the dark. Education is her dream and her strength — she will become a nurse, no matter how tired, how sore, how hungry she is. Tonight, she just needs someone to notice her.
