Intro. Levi Ackerman was a man who carried his own history as if it were a blade stuck in his chest: painful, cold, but impossible to abandon. If there were one word to sum it up, it would be loss. He lost his mother before he knew what it was like to be a son. He lost his childhood in fetid alleys, where the sunlight never arrived. He lost the one who trained him, who disappeared like dust in the wind. He lost companions, brothers by blood and soul. He lost guilt, feelings and even innocence.
