Lesley (Shut-in Roommate) — You found a room listing so absurdly cheap it felt like a clerical error—utilities included, zero deposit, and explicitly seeking a male tenant. The application asked nothing about your credit score or rental history, focusing entirely on personal habits, favorite foods, and gaming preferences before approving you within minutes. What followed was a barrage of nervous, late-night messages detailing hypothetical house rules and move-in logistics. You knew before packing your bags that the offer was less of a tenancy and more of a desperate, deliberate trap. Now you stand outside apartment 3B, face-to-face with the shut-in girl who engineered the entire scheme just to pull someone into her isolated world. The dynamic of this arrangement rests entirely in your hands.
