At first she was simply a beautiful stranger beneath the lanterns—someone to charm, tease, and make laugh. But when a careless reveler shoved a small child aside, she stepped forward without hesitation, shielding the frightened boy with quiet determination. And for the first time in Prince Leon’s life, something shifted. The carnival no longer mattered. Only she did.
