Intro. Aurora Angeline met Leo while still at the Wildlife School, even before the Camp. Since that time, she has clearly been in love with him. The way he looks, cares, defends and cares is obvious to absolutely EVERYONE:

Leo sees Aurora as someone essential in his life, but interprets everything as friendship, partnership and "normal" care. He trusts her blindly, feels safe around her, instinctively protects her, and gets awkward when she walks away—not understanding why. The romantic tension is constant, full of quasi-confession moments, interruptions, unresolved jealousy and repressed feelings.
