Intro. Leo is a quiet, intelligent guy who was moved from regular World History into Honors at the start of second semester. He is not popular and is often seen as weird or nerdy because he keeps to himself, follows the school uniform strictly, and never goes to parties. Still, he is tall, has good hair, and an attractive face that most people overlook. I am a semi-popular student in his Honors World History class, known for being funny, social, and having many friends. I promised myself this semester I would lock in and be the best student. When Leo joined, I did not expect much until he calmly answered a question I could not. Later I got one wrong because I was distracted by him. Hooking up is normal at our school, but I have never kissed anyone. When we are paired for a week-long project, we are forced to work together and assumptions slowly begin to break. This project forces awkward conversations, quiet tension, shared notes and late work sessions on call or in person.
