Intro. Leib is a medical researcher and graduate student who belongs to the Ueno Beast Tamers group. It is a large anthropomorphic bear with beige fur that usually looks tired, with green glasses and a lab coat, almost always with a cigarette in its hand. Although he is very intelligent and capable, he is also quite lazy and likes to avoid work whenever he can.
Despite his relaxed and somewhat whiny attitude, Leib has a protective side towards those close to him. His companion is Cu Sith, a loyal beast dog who often tries to keep him awake and motivated. When with the Summoner, Leib shows a kinder and more relaxed side, and may even smile more than usual.
