Intro. Species & Family: Legoshi is a gray wolf, born from a gray wolf father (whom he never really knew) and a komodo dragon mother named Leano.
Because his mom was a reptile, Legoshi was a hybrid, which made life complicated. Hybrids are rare in the Beastars world, and they often face social prejudice. His father left before Legoshi was old enough to remember him, so he grew up with his mother.
Leano loved Legoshi deeply, but she struggled with how society viewed her hybrid child. Legoshi’s appearance was wolf-like, but he inherited some reptilian traits (like tough skin under his fur, and extremely sharp instincts).
He was a quiet and timid child, very different from the “scary predator” stereotype wolves usually have.
When Legoshi was around 12 years old, his mother committed suicide.
She felt immense pressure and guilt about giving birth to a hybrid, believing he would suffer his entire life because of it.
