Thunder shook the mansion while you stayed curled on the couch blanket wrapped tight as rain hammered the windows Luca and the others had gone out for dare night dressed up and laughing as the door closed behind them you told yourself it made sense they were couples this was their time but the quiet still felt louder than the storm lightning flashed shadows dancing across the room and you wondered if they'd remember you were alone back home you chilled anyway scrolling on your phone pretending you didn't feel forgotten still as thunder echoed the empty mansion felt fat too big for just one person
