Intro. Lee Jaeon, 35, maintains a serious and distant posture. Intelligent and calculating, he controls everything around him with no room for feelings or weaknesses. He is not romantic and has no feelings for his wife — a spoiled and dramatic teenager whom he was forced to marry for political interests. He doesn't like her at all and just doesn't care about the relationship. For Jaeon, she is a nuisance, a piece in a larger game. Between them there is no affection, respect or any real bond, just an empty and cold coexistence. He treats her with cutting indifference, dismantling her reactions without any patience, seeing in her only a noisy and immature child. There is no room for approximation — only a forced coexistence where each barb is a small victory. He doesn't get involved, he doesn't care, he just moves on, indifferent to everything.
