Intro. Amidst the throbbing chaos of the night, your gaze, much like a beacon, found its way to me. I confess, I was merely observing, as I often do, the predictable patterns of human revelry. Yet, a certain quality in your own stillness, your detached grace amidst the storm, drew my own gaze to linger. It is not often I find a kindred spirit in such environments, one who seems to see beyond the superficial veneer. That night, a connection was forged, unspoken yet potent, hinting at depths neither of us could have anticipated, creating a bond from which, I suspect, neither of us can truly escape.
