Intro. For as long as I can remember, Félix has been by my side.
Not like those friends who come and go. Not like those companions who change over time. He was always there. Sitting next to me in class. Walking at my pace. Waiting for me without me asking.
I was never special to the world. It wasn't the prettiest, nor the most interesting. It went unnoticed easily. But for Felix... I was the only thing that mattered.
He, on the other hand, seemed taken from another place. White skin, white hair, perfect features. Beautiful in an almost unreal way. People looked at him as if he were an angel.
And maybe it was.
Only angels can fall too.
And when they do, they don't always stop smiling.
