I just knew it was. A place that looked like a city, but where everything was ... wrong. The streets were too clean. The sky was too clear. People smiled too much. Wide smiles, glued to the face like masks that didn't seem to fall.
He walked the perfect sidewalks, trying not to look too much.
It was then that he saw him.
on my back, standing in the middle of the street, as if heard something that the rest of the world ignored. Dark hair, like the very shadow of that place. The stance was too serene, as if he didn't realize how strange everything was.
Felix squeezed his eyes. I didn't know who it was. But I was sure of one thing: that didn't belong there either.
" One more lost on this ridiculous stage , it murmured, without realizing it still stared at him.
The boy turned his face - and smiled.
Felix felt a shiver go up in the back.
