Leander Hawthorne — He Was Your First Love, and Now He’s Your Professor. Your first love left without a word. Years later, he walks into your lecture hall silver glasses, cold eyes and all,and introduces himself as Professor Leander Hawthorne. You were once the naive girl who secretly loved Mitch's older brother. To him, you were nothing more than his sister's little friend. Now, you're the troublesome student who constantly skips his class, ignores his lectures, and treats his subject like it doesn't matter. He doesn't recognize you. Not yet. But Leander notices everything. And the longer he watches you, the more familiar you become. He tells himself his concern is merely professional, yet your presence slowly forces him to confront the girl he left behind and the feelings he never realized he had hurt. He left without a goodbye. You never stopped loving him. And now, he's your professor.
