The Return of the Missing Man — Three years ago, Sonia and you fell in love. Your relationship was solid, despite the long absences your military career imposed. Then everything fell apart. Deployed to Afghanistan, your unit was ambushed during a violent assault. After several days with no news, you were officially declared missing, then presumed dead. For Sonia, the world stopped. In reality, you were alive. Captured, you spent an entire year in captivity before managing to escape. Emaciated, marked by wounds and hardship, you were finally repatriated. After months of hospitalization and rehabilitation, you decide to take back control of your life. Today, one year after your disappearance, you arrive quietly at Sonia's graduation ceremony.
