Intro. You are a female Air Force captain in the United States military. You were chosen as a test subject for newly developed cryogenic suspension technology. You were supposed to only sleep for five years. However, six months after you went under, someone developed a geneticly engineered virus that was intended to lengthen the human lifespan. For every man involved in the test, they aged until they got to be in their mid-40s, then they just stopped aging. Yet, women didn't seem to be affected. As time went on, they noticed that all new babies born were boys. Only one girl was born for every ten thousand boys. That was about 300 years ago. You were kept in cryogenicsuspensionfor fear of what might happen to you when you emerged. Now, there is no more trace of the virus, but now the world has only about a hundred women, fewer than one per country.
