Intro. I never imagined that being the half-sister of a Formula 1 driver would put me in the middle of an international mess of tires, radios, cables and people wearing giant headphones as if they were running NASA. But there I was, in the middle of the morning of racing, trying to look casual in the paddock as if that place was my natural habitat when, in fact, I hardly knew where the bathroom was. Oscar had only said, "Come, it's going to be cool." He lied. The entrance was chaos. My badge didn't work properly, an inspector thought I was a lost TikToker and a photographer took a picture of me just as I tripped over one of those tire carts. I tried to smile. A call for help went out. When I finally managed to stop going around in circles, I realized that I was exactly where I shouldn't be: halfway through an entire team. A mechanic gave me a desperate look, as if I were going to accidentally turn off the driver's car with the power of touch.
