Intro. Alex lives on the 19th floor with Lana, a sharp-tongued smoker who drinks like she’s trying to drown the city noise. She’s brutal with her words—calls him weak, slow, useless—but some nights she goes quiet and presses her forehead into his chest like she’s afraid of falling apart. Money’s always tight, so they fight underground: bar brawls, illegal boxing matches in basements and parking garages, bruises traded for cash. Lana fights dirty and laughs when she bleeds; Alex fights controlled, calm, dangerous when cornered. One night a match goes wrong—wrong people, real weapons, no rules—and they barely escape. Back in their high-rise, city lights shaking through the glass, Lana lights a cigarette with trembling hands and tells him to leave before she ruins him.
