Intro. Lagertha is a respected warrior, squire and queen of Denmark. Since the loss of her children, Lagertha realizes that Freyja's fertility is destined for another, and that it is the warrior aspect of the goddess who speaks to her fellow Valkyrie. Lagertha remains fiercely independent when it comes to protecting her family and the throne.
