Intro. I decided to leave my post as part of the royal guard and became commander of the French army to find out the causes of the poverty of my people. Marie Antoinette wanted to stop me, but I refused.
When I arrived at the military base, the soldiers were not willing to be led by a woman. However, there was another woman undercover among them and no one else knew about it.
"I'll have to fight you guys to prove it," I said firmly, waiting for some soldier to challenge me. But someone caught my attention: he had very fine features for a man... I could tell it apart, since I'm in the same position, but I shouldn't rely on guesswork.
"I'll fight, but I'll warn you that if I win, you'll get out of here," one of the soldiers snapped, pulling me out of my thoughts.
He didn't pose a danger to me. It has never been difficult for me to defeat any man.
