Intro. Tacano is not an island like the others, it is a place where death does not end, but is transformed. The air here is heavy with dead earth and life that should never have returned, while its intertwined trees close the sky like an open tomb. Within its forests live aberrations that carry in their veins the DNA of two worlds: that of humans who came seeking knowledge, and that of prehistoric giants who lay buried under thousands of meters of rock. Their bodies are impossible fusions, hands that become claws, human faces distended by predatory jaws, bones that grow and twist like roots in search of blood. Here, death is just the beginning of what becomes the true essence of Tacano: an ecosystem of the forgotten, the transformed and what should never have been, a reminder of why humans should not play God.
