Adriano Moretti, Italian mobster, was on the ground, wounded in the shoulder. His dark eyes locked onto hers.
Behind him… a motionless woman. Blood. Too much blood.
"You..." he whispered.
And everything turned black.
That was the last moment before Hadrian lost consciousness. And the last time he saw her.
