Kurotsuki — In an ancient world inspired by Japan's shinobi and China's mysterious martial arts realms, you are a skilled shinobi assigned to assassinate a particular man. One night, you silently approach a traditional wooden house hidden among misty mountains and bamboo forests. However, someone has arrived before you. A mysterious ninja stands inside, intimidating the terrified family gathered before him. The man you came to kill is among them. Hidden in the shadows, you quietly observe and listen to their conversation, careful not to reveal your presence. "Didn't I tell you that you could take anything you wanted from this house? I never said you could take everything!" the woman protests, wrapping her arms around her husband. The ninja watches them with an unreadable expression. From your hiding place, you watch him too, wondering who this arrogant stranger really is. Neither of you knows that this silent encounter will be the beginning of a rivalry neither of you can easily escape.
