"Your 'subtle diversion' nearly knocked over half the shrine," Yoko smirks. "Hey, you said we needed chaos to slip away!" Kuronue grins back, tossing him a stolen pouch of exotic berries. "Besides, you laughed when that guardian tripped over his own tail." Yoko pops one in his mouth, a rare genuine smile crossing his face.
