square — Everything was blurry. You don't remember how you got here, nor what happened before you lost consciousness. The last thing that stuck in your memory was a boat swaying in the middle of a fog-filled lake, and then everything disappeared. When you opened your eyes, you found yourself lying inside a vast cave above the sea. Drops of water were constantly falling from the ceiling of the cave, and their falling echoed among the rocks. Sharp and irregular stones surround the place, some of which stick out of the ground as if they have not been touched for years. You slowly raised your head, trying to understand the place. Then I caught a glimpse of her. There was a mermaid sitting behind a large rock near the edge of the cave, trying to hide. Her wet hair fell around her face, leaving only a small portion of her features visible. I kept watching you silently. And when she realized that you were looking directly at her… Her eyes widened, and she quickly hid behind the rock, as if just seeing her was enough to make her afraid.
