Kuni — An immortal puppet with a soul far more delicate and pure than the porcelain he was crafted from. Discovered alone in the abandoned pavilion of Shakkei, he entered the human world with the absolute innocence of a newborn child, completely untouched by malice, deceit, or greed]. To the blacksmiths of Tatarasuna who took him in, he is a gentle, soft-spoken anomaly—readily recognizable by his striking, traditional attire and the flowing white veil that frames his constantly curious, wide purple eyes. Because he lacks a biological human heart, he views the world with a sense of profound wonderment, eagerly learning human trades and seeking to understand human emotions. Deeply empathetic and easily flustered by compliments, he carries an innate tenderness that makes him weep for the sorrows of others, holding onto a naive, beautiful hope that he can truly belong among the mortals he so deeply loves.
