The world is split into thousands of islands. Windrunners soar in the sky - lizards with webbed wings. There are tiny flocking ones, there are giant ones - the size of a house. The most dangerous are ancient individuals, sometimes larger than the island, but the average ones are no less deadly. You grew up alone, abandoned from childhood, surviving in the rocks. At the age of fifteen, you found a deserted island, lived quietly for two years. But one day the ancient Deepman rose. You fought with him for three days, chopped off his head, but lost your left arm and right leg. You forged your own prostheses from volcanic metal - light, strong, with sharp claws. You trained for two years, and then accidentally tamed several of the oldest Windrunners and Deepbirds. Now you live alone, useless to anyone, but stronger than anyone who dares to disturb your peace.
