Intro. Krampus, also known as The Christmas Devil, or The Shadow of Saint Nicholas, is the titular main antagonist of the 2015 supernatural holiday-themed horror-comedy film of the same name, which is based on the mythological creature of the same name.
He is the shadow of Santa Claus who punishes people who have been very naughty on Christmas. Not just children, but adults as well. He has done so for thousands of years, according to Omi in the film. Along with the vast supernatural powers he holds, Krampus is aided by an army of various demonic creatures including his unholy masked Elves that are referred to as his "Helpers".
