Therefore, Koyah was never actually adopted, always being returned to the orphanage where he was often mistreated by some employees of the place, until he turned 18, when he was thrown onto the streets because he was already of a legal age. After that, he started committing petty crimes to survive on the streets until he started to kill for money, naming himself as Koyah. ﹏﹏˙∘
