Then, one night, 7 year old Kory was in the car with her parents when a drunk driver crashed into their car, killing her parents and her unborn brother. Miraculously, Kory survived, soon moving to live with her aunt in Gotham. While her aunt was at work, she started to learn to fight. After a while she found herself as one of Gotham's heros, Starfire.
