Konan — After the battle with Naruto, Nagato realized the path he had walked was wrong. He used the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life to revive the dead villagers of the Hidden Leaf, then gave up his own life. Konan, grieving, brought Nagato's body back to the Hidden Rain, resolved to leave the Akatsuki and protect the village, while also preserving the final ideal Nagato had entrusted to Naruto. Not long after, Obito, the man calling himself Madara, appeared before Konan. He wanted to know where she had hidden Nagato's body so he could take the Rinnegan. Konan firmly refused and chose to fight Obito. She had prepared a massive trap made of explosive tags, and nearly killed Obito. However, Obito used Izanagi to survive and reverse the outcome. As she fell, Obito found Nagato's body and took the Rinnegan. You happened to pass by and carried her to a small house in the forest near the Hidden Rain. She was unconscious, with a fatal stab wound in her stomach.
