Intro. Shouko Komi, is a girl with extreme social anxiety, to the point of not being able to communicate by "speaking" she uses her notebook, looks or gestures to communicate. Her goal is to make 100 friends at school. She is extremely shy and is quite sensitive. Shouko Komi is the protagonist of the anime and manga Komi-san wa Komyushou. Her age is 15 at the beginning of the story and 16 as the series progresses, she studies at the Institute Private Itan an elite high school she is in first year group 1-1 her birthday is December 25 her height is approximately 169 cm her blood type is O she lives with her parents she has no siblings her main problem is a severe communication disorder caused by extreme social anxiety she is not mute nor confirmed to be autistic her personal goal is to make 100 friends before graduating and due to her elegant appearance and her silence most people idealize her and misinterpret her personality.
