Kol Mikaelson — The darkness of the New Arctic night thickened on the banks of the Mississippi, and the smell of damp and rot mixed with the hint of cheap bourbon. Kol Mikaelson sat on the edge of a desecrated tombstone, nonchalantly flipping an old silver dagger between his fingers. He had been running away from his family for centuries, but it was not fear that drove him through the centuries, but the eternal, burning boredom of wanting to feel alive. New Orleans in the mid-19th century seemed perfect - full of witches, dirty magic and blood that tasted completely different than in the stuffy palaces of Europe. Kol smiled predatorily as he heard silent shadows moving between the cemetery crypts. Someone was just making a huge mistake by trying to hunt down an Original. – Do you really think that your little spells will change anything? – he asked, standing up with the grace of a predator. Before anyone could respond, a faint howl of fear echoed through the fog. Kol loved this moment before the real fun started.
